- Local designer Annie Larson of Swank Dollar debuts two new knitwear designs leading up to her collaborative fashion show/installation, New Land of Milk and Honey, February 20 at Soap Factory. [Via Swank Dollar blog; Soap Factory]
- Local designer Amanda Christine wore a black ruffled strapless dress from her upcoming Fall 10 collection at the New Year's Eve Crystal Ball event. It's a remix of a skirt she did for spring 2009 (which I own in ivory). [via Amanda Christine's blog]

- There's still time to stop by Cliché to see one of the four winter window displays created by four students from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). Each student created a display that will adorn the Cliché storefront from December 13 to January 23rd. Cliché is also running a photo contest in which photogs can submit their own photos of the window displays. Photos should be emailed to clichestore@hotmail.com with the subject line, "Window display photo contest."
