Weekend wrap-up: Local fashion links

This week in local fashion was all about Danielle Everine, a local fashion designer who has just been announced as a contestant on season nine of Project Runway.

I cover the news in this week's issue of Vita.mn. I also take an in-depth look at her past work here on Le Petit. Allison Kaplan of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine takes a look back on her experience working with the designer on a shoot earlier this spring; she describes the designer as "quiet and cerebral."

I also cover this weekend's HandmadeMN Summer Market and Galleria Clearance Experience for Vita.mn. Check out l'etoile's Guides to Sales & Shopping for more weekend shopping events and local shopping news.

Also this week on Le Petit, I post new editorials, including the summer fashion spread from METRO Magazine, "One Horse Town", which stars Mary Cann of Vision Management Group; photographer Emily Utne's moody "Vision Quest" shoot featuring local rocker Liam Watkins; a new photo set by photographer Ingrid Werthmann featuring Vision's Elle Williams in fashions by Danielle Everine; and l'etoile's summer editorial, "ADORNED," featuring accessories by local designers, photography by Robb Long and modeling by Olivia of Vision.

In other local fashion news, I cover the launch of local wardrobe and event styling group Style-Architects, and the debut collection of crocheted accessories by new line Hazel and Haverly.
