Fashion: "Bacchanalia" Steampunk fashion show
WHAT: Themed after the ancient Roman festival that honored god Bacchus, this "night of fashion and hedonism" is headlined by local neo-Victorian design trio Blasphemina's Closet, Apatico, and Scoundrelle's Keep. The show features the new spring lines by each designer, as well as performances by Kajal Belly Dance and Bjorn Ludkondukt the Snake Charmer. Bacchus was the Roman god of excess, so expect plenty plenty of dancing, drinking, and all-around carousing. (10:30 p.m. Fri. 18+. $8-10. Ground Zero, 15 4th St. NE., Mpls. 612-378-5115)

Art: Overproof presents 'Final Notice' at Umber Studios
Local artistic think tank Overproof plays host to a show featuring new work and collaborations by Portland artists Keegan "Onefoot" Wenkman and Aaron Michael Bickner. The theme of the show is based on the concept of vacancy and foreclosure and includes a variety of installations spanning the floors and walls of Umber Studios. Keeping with the theme of the night, food and refreshments provided by Gastro Non Grata and The Wienery will be "upscale dining, recession-style" and music will consist of mix tapes by local DJs played through a large boombox. One of the installations includes an interactive dollhouse piece on the floor. (7-10 p.m. Sat. Free. Umber Studios, 3109 E. 42nd St., Mpls.
