Editorial: My cover spread for Minnesota Bride

I had the opportunity to style two of three covers and a spread within the Spring/Summer 2012 issue of local print glossy Minnesota Bride. Under the direction of the magazine's former editor Mary O'Regan (who recently relocated to Seattle), I styled looks that married bridal with a grunge/rocker feel - an unlikely combination, but I think it was a successful attempt. As an added bonus, I got to work with one of my favorite Twin Cities models, Vision Management Group's Ashlee Walker, who recently got signed by New York agency DNA.

Editorial: Alexandria Brouhard in "Cream of the Crop"

Ignite face-of-the-moment Alexandria Brouhard stars in this gorgeous editorial from the Spring 2012 issue of Minnesota Bride, photographed by the esteemed William Clark and styled by Hollie Mae Schultz. It's one of the final shoots creative directed by former Minnesota Bride editor Mary O'Regan, who recently departed to Seattle for an editorial position with Nordstrom. METRO names local designer Amanda Christine one of its 2012 Keepers

METRO Magazine has just announced its 2012 "Keeper Awards," and local fashion designer Amanda Natzel - better known as Amanda Christine - is among the talented Twin Citians honored. The hard-working designer is one of the most successful young designers in town, having her namesake line carried in over 30 stores across the country. Pick up a print issue of the magazine's January 2012 issue to see more of this years Keepers.

Local inspiration: muses and lenses

MNfashion Week came calling, so muses and lenses went on hiatus. Now that things have calmed down a bit, it's back with more of the best in the newest fashion, street style and portrait photography by local photographers and subjects.

Behind-the-scenes: METRO's stylists styling stylists shoot

On Monday afternoon, I had the opportunity to participate in a unique styling challenge: styling stylists stylists. Five local stylists - Grant Whittaker, Cindy Warner, Hollie Mae, Molly Roark and myself - were challenged to style each other in a photo shoot that will appear in the November issue of METRO Magazine. METRO fashion editor Mary O'Regan snapped some behind-the-scenes photos of the shoot:
