Recap: "Give Us Wings" Design Challenge
A week ago, FiveTwoSix Salon held their annual Design Challenge benefiting Give Us Wings, an organization that gives African woman opportunities to create arts and crafts to be sold. Eleven local designers created a look crafted in part from African textiles, giving a traditional fabric a fresh look. Here are a few of my favorite looks of the night:
