On November 18, four designers will show three pieces each based off of works in the
MIA's permanent collection. In partnership with
MNfashion, this event challenges some innovative local fashion designers to reimagine art as fashion. Here are
Laura Fulk's inspiration images and sketches.

Laura says, "Inspired by Harold Edgerton's photograph of a bullet shooting through an apple. This spread shows the colors I plan on using along with 3 sketched silhouettes."

"Along with the photograph's visual inspiration is also the era in which it was created. Harold Edgerton also photographed still shots of atom bomb tests with his stroboscope camera that he invented."
