Danielle Everine to appear on Season 9 of "Project Runway"

Exciting news for fans of local fashion: it's just been announced that beloved local designer Danielle Everine will appear on Season 9 of Project Runway. The designer has been a part of the local design scene since the mid '00s, her work showcasing her background in fine art and sculpture while displaying a sense of history, craftsmanship and whimsy. She first made a name for herself with her Voltage 2010 appearance, and went onto co-star in a lauded fashion week show in Minneapolis, "Pale Rider" with Raul Osorio in fall 2010. Her spring 2011 collection, which debuted on the Voltage 2011 stage this past April, was a dreamy, all-sheer collection of separates. Past locals on the reality show include Ra'mon-Lawrence Coleman (Season 6), Christopher Straub (Season 6) and Katherine Gerdes (Season 3). The new season will premiere on July 28 on Lifetime.

In honor of this prestigious coup for miss Danielle, I thought I would compile a sampling of her past work:

Jewelry designer Stephanie Lake featured on interior design blog

Local jewelry designer Stephanie Lake is also quite the interior designer. The room of her vanity in her Minnetonka home was just featured on national interior design blog Decorati in their "most inspiring examples" of bedroom vanities. The designer's stunning home has been regularly featured in publications - equally as gorgeous as her jewelry designs.

Editorial: Elle Williams by Ingrid Werthmann

Now here's what I call a power couple: Vision model of the moment Elle Williams gets photographed by the incomparable Ingrid Werthmann. This stunning pictorial speaks for itself, but let me just add that Elle appears to be wearing pieces from Project Runway season 9 contestant Danielle Everine's Fall 2010 "Pale Rider" collection.
