Last night I headed to MNfashion's Northeast studio for the MNfashion Week buyer event. Open to retail buyers and press exclusively, the event gathered all the runway and accessories designers from Voltage 2011 as well as other designers from spring 2011 MNfashion Week events - Emma Berg, Kevin Kramp, George Moskal, and CounterCouture - as they attempted to get their most retail-ready pieces into local shops. According to the website, the shows are part of a series of solo shows produced by MNfashion at the Grainbelt Brewery Atrium in Northeast Minneapolis. Mark you calendars for April 13 (S/S 2011 shows from George Moskal and eco-friendly local line CounterCouture) and April 14 (Kevin Kramp, showing F/W 2011 and Emma Berg, showing S/S 2011).
